Challenge:
Persuade a local City Council, which had previously turned down a developer's proposal to build an upscale shopping mall, that support by city residents exists to approve a new proposal for the development.
What we did:
Developed an aggressive campaign which included conducting public-opinion research, obtaining many positive news and feature stories, and implementing a telemarketing campaign encouraging local residents to call City Council members.
What we accomplished:
CPR's campaign helped prove that city residents strongly desired the new development, and the City Council approved the developer's proposal. The construction project has begun. |
